University of Missouri Health Care offers hotel-style room service at its hospitals. The service features made-to-order, freshly prepared food allowing for more personalized service. Once the doctor has written a diet order for the patient, a restaurant-style menu appropriate for the diet order will be delivered to the patient. The patient selects the items from a restaurant-style menu, places a call to our room service attendant and the meal is delivered within 45 minutes. Room service meals are available from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
