What is Amen free dental care?

Adventist Medical Evangelism Network is an independent ministry that supports the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist® Church; however, it is not part of, affiliated with, or endorsed by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists® headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland or any of its affiliates known as the Seventh-day Adventist® Church.

1. What you need to know

AMEN offers medical, dental and vision services at no cost. We do not require proof of insurance, employment, income, ID or immigration status. Everybody is entitled to services. Services are on a first come first serve basis. Appointments cannot be made in advance. Wristbands for admittance will be distributed the morning of each clinic day.

2. What to bring

As you can see, it may be a very long day for you and/or your family, and your comfort is your responsibility. You are not required to bring anything with you. Therefore, we suggest the following: bring food and water.

3. What Not To Bring

THE PRESENCE OF ALCOHOL, ILLEGAL DRUGS, OR FIREARMS WILL RESULT IN THE DENIAL OF SERVICE.

4. What services does AMEN offer?

DENTAL: Cleaning, fillings, extractions VISION: Complete dilated eye exams, testing for glaucoma, testing for diabetic retinopathy, glasses made off site and will be ready for pickup within 6-8 weeks.

5. Do I need to make an appointment?

AMEN offers services on a first-come, first-serve basis; therefore, we do not make appointments.

6. How do I get into the clinic?

To enter a clinic you will need a color wristband, and to receive a color wristband you will need to be present when we provide them.

7. Can I get a wristband for my friend or family member?

Because our services are free and resources are limited, we only give wristbands to those who are physically present at the time of number distribution.
