UGA Christie Campus Resources gives you 24/7 access to counselors and mental health resources to help you cope with concerns that very from minor and manageable to severe. Services are free to students.
CAPS has a brief treatment model—your needs may be best served outside of CAPS. The Athens area has great resources that you and the screening clinician will discuss as needed.
You must be located in the state of Georgia at the time the phone screening is conducted.

Students who are interested in learning more about nutrition for optimal wellness may register for a free Nutrition Basics class, offered via Zoom. In this course, we will discuss basic components of a nutritious diet, meal planning strategies, and common nutrition concerns for undergraduate and graduate students.
We provide care by appointment on the day that you call, or a day that is convenient for you. Appointments are available Monday – Friday from 8:20-11:20 am and from 1:00-4:00 pm. A UGA ID card is required to verify current enrollment and eligibility for care.
Eligible UHC patients and clients who have scheduled appointments are subject to a $20 charge for late arrival or missed appointments. This includes same-day appointments.
Healthcare services at UHC are available at reasonable costs. When a student pays the UGA health fee each semester, the cost of the visit with a provider or nurse in the Medical Clinic is included. Any labwork, xrays, medicines, supplies, or procedures are charged a modest fee.
Students visiting the health center for the first time must complete the required forms online using the UHC Patient Portal using their UGA MyID account, or bring completed paper copies to their first visit. These required forms are:

If you are currently enrolled or a recent graduate (within the last 3 months) you may print a copy of your immunizations by accessing the UHC Patient Portal:
The Registration and Health Information department will be happy to assist you with transferring your health information and/or immunization records to another academic institution, physician or medical facility. You must make your request in writing. Be sure to include your nine digit UGA ID number (81#———) number and your signature.
If you request a copy of your health information to be given directly to you, there will be a charge of $.25 per page after the first four pages. For an insurance company or legal office, there is a $25.00 retrieval, copy and processing.
If you choose to authorize another person or persons to have access to your health records, you will need to fill out, sign and submit the Medical Authorization to Obtain Health Information form for PHYSICAL HEALTH information only. You can send the form to UHC or FAX it to 706-542-4959.
