When will the UAMS family medical centers switch to Epic?

Over the next several weeks, the UAMS Family Medical Centers will begin using a new electronic medical records system by Epic Systems Corporation. Epic is a worldwide leader in electronic medical records, and they have a state-of-the-art Patient Portal known as MyChart. This transition will take place from Oct. 26th to Dec. 7th, 2020.

Can you quarantine at UAMS?

Visitors required or recommended to quarantine by the Arkansas Department of Health due to illness, potential exposure, travel or other reason are not allowed at UAMS until cleared by the health department. Request access to your childs medical records. Click here to complete the request form.

Do you need a mask to go to UAMS?

Masks must be worn at UAMS at all times. You may bring one person with you to your appointment. Health Screenings are required for patients and visitors. A photo ID is required for everyone entering buildings on the main UAMS Campus.

Getting Started

If you are an active patient, you can create a Patient Portal account. You will need a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to create your on-line account.

Requesting Your PIN

During your office visit, you can request Patient Portal Personal Identification Number (PIN) from the front desk or your nurse. You will be required to provide a valid photo ID.

Secure PIN Letter

This letter will include your unique and secure Personal Identification Number (PIN) and will guide you through your new account registration process. Your PIN will only be used one time during the Identification Verification process of creating your new account. When creating your new Portal account, please make note of your Username and Password.

E-mail Requirements

Each patient is required to have a unique email address to use the Patient Portal and Secure Messaging.

Secure Messaging

You will receive a notification e-mail in your e-mail Inbox. This notification e-mail will include a link to your Patient Portal Secure Message In-box. Follow the link, log on to the Patient Portal account and you will receive your confidential (private) message.
