Phoenix Urology’s Radiology Department is accredited by the American College of Radiology and is held to high standards of diagnostic accuracy and safety for our patients.

Can you drink before a CT urogram?

You cannot eat or drink for three (3) hours prior to your exam. CT Urogram. You can drink clear liquids up to four (4) hours prior to your exam. Contrast CT. You will be given two (2) bottles of barium, please drink one (1) bottle the evening before the exam and the second (2) bottle 1 hour prior to your exam.
