If you need to speak to a ROI coordinator, please call 978-287-3907 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, or email ROI@emersonhosp.org. We will mail your records to the address specified on the release of information form. To protect your privacy, we don’t fax or email medical records.

Emerson Hospital’s Medical Records department is dedicated to maintaining your medical records and keeping your health information private and secure in accordance with your rights as a patient, and with federal and state regulations.

How long do you have to keep hospital records in Massachusetts?

Massachusetts law requires that we maintain hospital records for 20 years following your last visit. These records include laboratory and radiology reports, emergency department visits, outpatient surgeries, and inpatient stays at Emerson Hospital.

Does Emerson Urgent Care have medical records?
