At Shannon we are focused on keeping your healthcare information confidential. Information will not be released without the patient's written consent, except as required by law.

What is Shannon MyChart medical record access?

Shannon MyChart Medical Record Access is an Internet application that enables a patient to have secure web-based access to portions of their Shannon medical record, and allows a secure, convenient communications channel with Shannon for non-urgent messages. Use of this service is optional.

What is Shannon’s liability policy for medical records?

I understand that Shannon takes no responsibility for and disclaims any and all liability arising from an inaccuracies or defects in software, communication lines, private networks, or Internet connectivity. This access to my medical record is provided as a service.

What is Shannon MyChart?

Shannon MyChart Medical Record Access is an Internet application that enables a patient to have secure web-based access to portions of their Shannon medical record, and allows a secure, convenient communications channel with Shannon for non-urgent messages. Use of this service is optional. Your login name and password are key to protecting the confidentiality of your information. It is your responsibility to keep your password confidential. It is only known by you and can be changed online at any time by you. Your password is not known by anyone at Shannon.

What are some examples of inappropriate use of Shannon MyChart?

Inappropriate use of Shannon MyChart (examples include: excessive, unnecessary, inappropriate content in messages or use of scheduling) Abuse of proxy access. Pending legal issues with patient or direct family. You will be notified if we deactivate your Shannon MyChart medical record access.

Can you receive messages from Shannon MyChart?

You understand that you may receive messages, test results and other communications delivered via Shannon MyChart. Therefore, you may not receive other types of communications from Shannon in these areas.

Is Shannon MyChart a patient right?

Access to Shannon MyChart is a courtesy and not a patient right. Shannon reserves the right in its discretion to discontinue your access if Shannon believes you have violated these terms and conditions or abused the use of this service. The following is a list of reasons which may result in deactivation. The list is not inclusive and each circumstance will be evaluated individually.

How long does it take to get a Shannon Health records?

Please allow 7-10 days for processing of the request. You will be contacted when records are ready. Records will be sent to you via MyChart which is the preferred method. If you do not have a MyChart account, you can sign up by visiting the Shannon Health website. Records can also be mailed to you during this time. Records you have requested to be sent to other facilities or third parties will be sent directly to them.

What is the document center of MyChart?

Who is Robin Shannon?

Robin Shannon is a double board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has been a nurse practitioner since 2013. She can assess, diagnose and treat ages 12 years and older in a wide range of mental health conditions. Robin received her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Vanderbilt University and received her post graduate degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati. She is currently licensed in the state of Massachusetts and has up to date NPI and DEA licenses. She is accepting new patients at this time.

What is the philosophy of a patient care?

We recognize that patient care should revolve around a comprehensive approach to one’s mental health. Our care philosophy includes educating and facilitating results in a professional and calming environment to help minimize anxiety and maximize patient comfort.

Does Shannon Psychiatry offer telemedicine?

In addition to assessing and treating your needs, Shannon Psychiatry offers pharmacologic evaluations and medication management. Our telemedicine consultations allow for prompt responses and flexible visiting ours (same-day and evening/weekend hours upon request). Decrease exposure to public illness and time trying to book and pay for psychiatric care from the comfort of your own home with our help.
