I am rejecting this response because: Practice Fusion is an unethical and deceitful EMR platform that traps medical practices into lengthy subscriptions with a non-user-friendly, non-intuitive EMR that does not function well, and is exorbitantly cost prohibitive. Their customer service is absolutely horrible.

Overall Practice Fusion is a pretty great EMR. The connectivity to back end service (the billing aspect) is not great, but there are plenty of things that make the software worth it, including clinical decision making support, drug interaction reminders/warnings and the ability to e-prescribe.
Like the others, Practice Fusion opens to a dashboard that clearly shows tasks that are completed and those that are incomplete. The system also has e-prescribing functions, which provides a patient-safety function by letting the practitioner see what other prescriptions the patient has had filled. This prevents duplicate prescriptions from being filled and lets the practitioner review for possible interactions that may occur between medications.
Clinicians can access patient charts by clicking a name on the patient list from the Chart tab. Patient charts open up to a Summary page, an organized compilation of pertinent patient data. Along the top are tabs with the labels Timeline and Profile, as well as a current Encounter Date tab for note entry.

PF provides a very intuitive interface that is very easy to learn, which is especially important in our clinic because as an academic teaching environment we are constantly onboarding new volunteers who need to use this software for the first time and need to learn to do so quickly.
The best scenario is a small non-profit clinic who needs a great EMR but cannot afford one like EPIC. I might also recommend this to colleagues who are starting a small business because I think PF would be a good, easy, and more affordable to get up and running.
