Is there a patient portal for Health West patients?

The Patient Portal allows you to take charge of managing your health. Use the search function below to access the correct Patient Portal. Type your provider's name or the name of the location where you receive care. Once you see the name, click on it. An "ACCESS PATIENT PORTAL" button will populate. Click that button to reach your Patient Portal.

Important Information About Changes to Your Medical Records

At Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, we want you to be well-informed about your care so you can support your own journey to optimal health, and that’s why we offer a patient portal that provides access to your own healthcare information. Your access is being expanded even further.

Bill Pay Options

You can pay bills from Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare online, by phone or by mail. Visit our Pay My Bill page for additional information.

Patient Resources

From online pre-registration to answering questions about insurance, we provide the resources you need to make your visit with us comfortable and convenient:

Emergency department

No visitors are allowed in the emergency department waiting room. Visitors will be notified once the emergency patient is in a treatment room and it is deemed safe for the patient to have a visitor.

Hospitalized patients, procedures, treatments, doctor appointments and vaccine clinics

Generally, each patient is allowed 1 healthy visitor in the facility at a time. For example:

COVID-19 or other infectious hospitalized patients

Visitors are not allowed if the patient's attending physician deems it unsafe. Otherwise, 1 healthy visitor (18 years or older) will be allowed and will be required to wear the necessary safety equipment at all times.

Exceptions

Special consideration will be made for disabled patients who may need more than 1 visitor to provide support and knowledge about their care.

Magnet Recognition

Houston Methodist West Hospital is an honoree of the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program®, which recognizes health care organizations for quality patient care, nursing excellence and innovations in professional nursing practice.

Non-COVID hospitalized patients, procedures, treatments and doctor appointments

Visitation is limited to 1 healthy visitor per day in medical surgical units, procedural areas and for doctor appointments. Hospitalized patients will be allowed 1 overnight visitor (18 years or older).

COVID vaccination

Patients may bring 1 healthy visitor when they are receiving a COVID-19 vaccine.

Emergency department

No visitors are allowed in the emergency department waiting rooms. One healthy visitor may be allowed once a patient is in an exam room. An exception will be made in compassionate cases. Patients who have tested positive or are under evaluation for COVID-19 will not be permitted visitors.

COVID hospitalized patients

No visitors are allowed, even with proof of vaccination. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
