Perfumes and Colognes

As a courtesy to our other patients who are sensitive to odors, please do not wear perfumes, colognes or scented lotions while in our office.

Immunizations

The Travel Clinic is where UGA students can schedule routine vaccines by contacting the clinic directly by phone or request an appointment by email. Online booking is not available.

Travel

If travel abroad is in your future plans, your best local medical resource is the Travel Clinic at the University of Georgia’s Health Center. Our full-service clinic offers travel health advice based on current epidemiological information, vaccinations, prescriptions (such as malaria prevention), and pre-departure COVID testing.

Appointments

Travel appointments are 30 minutes and done virtually. Appointment requests can be done as soon as itinerary is known, preferably 6-8 weeks prior to departure. We may offer in-person appointments

Missed Appointments

If necessary, cancel or reschedule your appointment by 24 hours on the preceding business day to avoid a $30 missed-appointment charge.

Fees and Insurance

Travel patients will be charged an office visit/virtual visit fee plus any applicable immunization or COVID-19 testing charges. We file with insurance at the time of service and will bill the patient for any uncovered charges. We encourage patients to check with their insurance company regarding the details of their coverage.
