How do I get my medical record from advanced pain care?

Your medical record request will be processed by HealthMark and a notification will be sent via mail or email once complete and available for download. In order to expedite the patient check-in procedures, Advanced Pain Care offers downloadable patient forms.

If your PSCer lives near a large university or medical center, you can ask for an appointment with a hepatologist and/or gastroenterologist who treats PSC patients. If your PSCer's current doctor only treats a few PSCers, you can request a consultation with a hepatologist or gastroenterologist who cares for a larger number of PSC patients.

Why is it so hard to navigate PSC?

Sometimes, the nature of PSC and its symptoms (e.g., fatigue, itching) may cause the caregiver to want to take a stronger role to help support and ensure the best care for their loved one.

What can a caregiver give to a PSCer?

Although the caregiver loves and cares for their PSCer, those who do not have PSC cannot fully understand what the PSCer is experiencing and enduring. A gift the caregiver can give to everyone, and especially to their PSCer, is to be a good listener.

What is caregiver involvement in PSC?

Caregiver Involvement. Many PSCers manage their illness, with their caregivers serving in a support role (e.g., record keeping). Some with PSC may rely on their caregiver to play a more active role in managing their illness, such as organizing medications, scheduling appointments, etc.

Precision Spin e Care is one of only two spine centers in Texas to be included in a national listing of spine centers of excellence by SpineCenterNetwork.com. To be included, a spine center must meet credentialing criteria that relates to having a multi-disciplinary team of non-surgeons, spine surgeons and spine therapists working together with an emphasis on non-surgical treatment options; minimally invasive spine surgery; patient education; and home remedies for back and neck pain.

What can I do to help my spine?

Lifting or sports activities can strain muscles, ligaments & tendons, causing painful spasms. Extreme pain can require a spine specialist. Home remedies include anti-inflammatories like Advil/Nuprin, rest, ice and some simple stretching exercises.
