Patient Portal Women's Health Connecticut's secure Patient Portal makes it easy to communicate with your ObGyn and healthcare team. You can use the patient portal to request an appointment, pay your bill, confirm normal test results, or view your health records.

You can use the patient portal to request an appointment, pay your bill, confirm normal test results, or view your health records.  All communications between you and your provider's office are carried over a secure, encrypted connection. As a Women's Health Connecticut patient, all you need is an email address to enroll.

How do I login to the women’s care online patient portal?

Select your Women’s Care office from the search list. You will be asked to login using your Patient Portal username and password. Lastly, select a 4-digit or 6-digit PIN.

How do I create a new Patient Portal account?

To create a new patient portal account, click “Enroll Now”. Once you have a Patient Portal account, download the free HEALOW app. Depending on your location you will need to enter a unique code for Women’s Care. How often do we see patients?

A. We routine see patient every 3-4 weeks until the beginning of the third trimester. We will see you every 2 weeks beginning at week 28-30. We will see you every week until birth beginning at 35-37 weeks gestation.

Why is water important for birth?

The theory behind water birth is that since the baby has already been in the amniotic fluid sac for 40 weeks, birthing in a similar environment is gentler for the baby and less stressful for the mother. Warm water also promotes relaxation of the muscle which may decrease the pain sensation. Q.

Can you take a waterbirth class?

A. Yes. We do suggest taking the waterbirth class if you are interested in laboring in water. Many women decide they want to stay in the water afterall. Also, the large inflatable tub will not be filled unless you have taken the waterbirth class.

Do midwives at Nile provide doulas?

A. The midwives at Nile strive to provide as much hands-on care as we are able. We are limited by the number of women in labor and their individual needs. For this reason, we do encourage hiring a doula for one on one support during the labor process.
