How do I sign up for a MyChart Portal account?

Emory Healthcare’s MyChart patient portal gives you online access to your medical record. You can sign up for a MyChart portal account on your own, and it's easy. But if you need help, call 404-727-8820, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. EST, to get help signing up. Your care team can also send you a link to sign up if you ask for their help.

The easiest and most convenient way to access your medical records, including the visit notes, is to log into your MyChart account. MyChart is UConn Health’s free, secure online patient portal that lets you access your medical records, request an appointment, send and receive messages to and from your provider, and access your test results from your computer or mobile device. Signing up for MyChart is simple and only takes a few minutes. To enroll, visit health.uconn.edu/mychart and click on the “Access MyChart” button.

If your provider has any unique patient safety concerns related to your results, they will be contact you directly. In a small number of cases, the results might be considered sensitive and will not be released to the portal immediately. Your provider will contact you to discuss those results.

Office hours

New patients are asked to arrive 30 minutes early to complete paperwork. You can download, print, and complete the forms prior to your appointment. Please bring the completed forms, a list of all medications you are currently taking, recent copies of x-rays, lab results, photo ID and your insurance card to your appointment.

Medication Refills

Please contact your pharmacy for refill requests. Your pharmacy will fax us the request and your refills will be processed within 72 hours. You may also request refills on the patient portal.

Billing

We require payment of your co-payment and past-due account balances at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, debit and all major credit cards. (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover.)

Insurance

We will submit claims to most major insurance carriers. Please bring your insurance card and I.D. with you to every visit so we can ensure that our records are accurate.

Cancellations or Rescheduling

To better serve the needs of all our patients, we ask that you call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule appointments. We make every effort to stay on schedule, although emergencies arise.

After-hours & emergencies

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, dial 911. However, if you need after-hours advice for a medical concern, please call (512) 901-1111 and our answering service will assist you.
