If you are a current patient and need to access your Patient Portal, the portal can be accessed here. You can also request records by calling 606.783.6570 or visit the Health Information Management office (Medical Records) on the 2nd floor of the hospital.

What is patient portal?

The Patient Portal is an online service that provides patients secure access to their health information. Various features may be available on the portal at your practice's discretion, including the ability to send messages to your health care providers, schedule appointments, and pay bills online. top

How old do you have to be to use the Patient Portal?

Any active patient over the age of 13 is eligible to register for and use the Patient Portal. If you are authorized, a family access account can be created that will allow you to access selected family members' health information. top

How to find recent charges payable?

Click the Billing tab. Your recent charges will appear listed under Recent Charges Payable Online.

How to sign out of a portal?

Click the Sign Out link at the top right of the screen. Alternatively, if your keyboard remains idle for 10 minutes or more, you will receive a pop-up window asking if you are still actively using the portal. If you do not click the OK button, you will be signed out automatically. Any information you have typed and not saved or sent will be lost.

What is a medical authorization?

To allow you and any other users you authorize to coordinate and manage your medical care with your health care providers.

Can you delete messages from the Patient Portal?

You cannot permanently delete sent or archived messages. This is because all messages that you send and receive in the Patient Portal are part of your medical record. top

What is a patient care update?

Patient Care Updates - Information regarding the patient’s condition will be given to the designated “spokesperson”. The designated spokesperson will be responsible for sharing information with family members or loved ones who should have this information. The “spokesperson” should plan to be at the hospital by 8 AM every morning to participate in care rounds with the healthcare team and obtain information about the patient’s condition. If your spokesperson is not present during morning rounds, your nurse will call them at the phone number they have provided with an update on your condition at their earliest convenience, typically between 11 AM and 1 PM. Calls will also be made at any time your condition may suddenly change.

What time does the patient experience specialist work?

Patient experience specialists are available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday to facilitate communication and help you voice your questions, compliments, and concerns regarding your care or the care of a loved one.
