Does McAlester Regional Health Center offer financial assistance?

To further service families in need of financial assistance, McAlester Regional Health Center offers Charity Care. This is a program specifically designed to assist patients who meet federal guidelines for poverty level, although cosmetic or self-pay package accounts do not qualify for Financial Assistance. If you meet these guidelines, it’s your responsibility to establish eligibility for the program. Financial Assistance applications will be reviewed and assessed based on income, assets, and family size.

These physicians will bill you separately from the hospital, so you may receive multiple bills in the mail. For example, you could receive a bill from a consulting physician, radiologist or other specialist.
