ALERT: Visitor restrictions and guidance during COVID-19: MedStar Health has implemented a three-tier Visitor and Patient Support Persons Policy that allows for adjustments based on the number of COVID-19 cases in the community, according to state and county public health data. MedStar Georgetown University Hospital currently has RED tier visitor restrictions in place.

This patient portal gives you access to your hospital and rehabilitation services records

With this patient portal you can access your patient records from Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital, Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital or Tidelands Health Rehabilitation Services. You can easily access your hospital-based lab results, visit history, discharge and aftercare information and more.

COVID-19 vaccine record

If you received your COVID-19 vaccine at one of our regional vaccination sites or while hospitalized, you can view your COVID-19 immunization record in the hospital portal. Click "read more” to view instructions, and see the box below to enroll in or access the portal.

Make an Appointment

Patients are seen by appointment – on the same day the appointment is made if possible. To schedule an appointment, please call (512) 763-4000 during regular business hours.

New Patients

New patients are asked to arrive 30 minutes early to complete paperwork. You can download, print, and complete the forms prior to your appointment. Please bring the completed forms, a list of all medications you are currently taking, recent copies of x-rays, lab results and your insurance card to your appointment.

Billing

We require payment of your co-payment and past-due account balances at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, debit and all major credit cards.

Insurance

We will submit claims to most major insurance carriers. Please bring your insurance card and I.D. with you to every visit so we can ensure that our records are accurate.

Cancellations or Rescheduling

To better serve the needs of all our patients, we ask that you call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule appointments. We make every effort to stay on schedule, although emergencies arise.

Refill Requests

We are happy to help with refill requests during regular office hours, so please call us at (512) 763-4000 to let us know what you need.

After-Hours & Emergencies

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, dial 911. However, if you need after-hours advice for a medical concern, please call (512) 763-4000 and our answering service will assist you.
