Dermatology Associates of Virginia was founded in 1969 by Richmond native Charles M. Caravati, Jr., M.D

Starting in a small office on Hamilton Street in the near West End, the office was soon moved to a house on Grove Avenue. Since then, Dermatology Associates has expanded to seventeen physicians practicing at six central Virginia locations including one in Colonial Heights and five in the greater Richmond area.

We offer comprehensive skin care for all ages. Our providers are specialists trained in diseases of the hair, skin, and nails, as well as some of the most chronic and complicated skin disorders.
