You are encouraged to contact the UCLA Counseling and Psychological Services Center (CAPS) if you need mental health/behavioral health care. CAPS is an on-campus multidisciplinary center where you’ll receive consultation and services for student behavioral health concerns. If additional services or higher levels of care are needed, CAPS will assist you in linking to the appropriate care through UCLA BHS or community Anthem providers.
All off-campus outpatient care requires an Anthem referral to be generated by CAPS.

You will also receive a confirmation via UCLA MyChart. If for any reason you need to cancel your appointment, we ask that you do so with at least 24-hours advance notice by calling 310-301-7396 and leaving a message with your name, provider and time of appointment. This provides BHA an opportunity to offer your slot to another patient who is waiting to be scheduled.
If BHA has not heard from you for a period of 6 months, it is assumed that your mental healthcare management is returned to your primary care provider.
BHA Provides services to patients who have established care with a UCLA Primary Care Physician (PCP) and have been referred to the BHA Program. If you need to establish care with a UCLA PCP, request an appointment online or call 1-800-UCLA-MD1.

You may also choose to receive a referral to a provider in the community to continue psychotherapy after meeting your initial therapy goals.
