What is NYP medical?

NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP) medical groups are part of the physician enterprise of NewYork-Presbyterian, one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic healthcare systems affiliated with two world-renowned medical schools — Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and Weill Cornell Medicine. Where do NYP physicians practice?

Our NYP medical group physicians practice in Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester County, and other parts of the Hudson Valley. In addition to being professors at the medical colleges, many of our physicians also practice at our NYP hospitals in your community. Requesting Proxy Access

With proxy access, you can view certain medical information of your children or other adults.

For Your Child's Medical Records

If you are a parent or guardian of a minor child under the age of 14 and would like to request proxy access to their medical records, you will be required to have your own MyChart account.

For an Adult's Medical Records

If you are an adult and would like to provide limited or full view access to your medical records, you can do so from your MyChart account. Once logged in, choose Share My Record from the menu.

Can I use MyChart for urgent or emergency needs?

MyChart is NOT to be used for urgent needs. Please visit one of our urgent care locations or call your clinic. For medical emergencies, dial 911.

How do I register for MyChart?

On the myPRES Registration page, enter your information and select Register.

What happened to the FollowMyHealth myColumbiaDoctors portal?

Rest assured, your account remains active and you may continue to access your information (link is external and opens in a new window) . No new health information has been added to your FollowMyHealth account after Feb. 1, 2020, and you can no longer connect to your provider through that account.
