How do I pay Ballad Health bills?

Ballad Health is a new health system, formed by the merger of Mountain States Health Alliance and Wellmont Health System. We’re still working to bring our billing systems together into one user-friendly platform. To pay your bill online, please check your statement and click the matching link below.

Ballad Health is an integrated community health improvement organization serving 29 counties of the Appalachian Highlands in Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, Northeast North Carolina and Southeast Kentucky.

Which Ballad Health Hospitals and practices use MyChart?

As of Oct. 1, 2020, all Ballad Health hospitals, Ballad Health Medical Associates (BHMA) and Mountain States Medical Group (MSMG) clinics use MyChart with one exception: Mountain View Regional Hospital.* Here is a complete listing of Ballad Health hospitals and practices using MyChart:

At each of our hospital locations, we have extended visiting hours so your family can spend more time with you.

Hospital chaplains are available to listen and be a comforting and supportive presence.

Hospitalists

Another part of our patient-centered care is our hospitalists. These are dedicated physicians who work exclusively with patients in our hospitals. Our hospitalists are board-certified internists – having completed the same training as primary care physicians – who strictly focus on specialized and coordinated care for hospital patients.

Transfers to other facilities

Sometimes patients need to be transferred to another hospital to receive a higher level of care or specialty services. If the doctors decide a patient transfer is in the patient’s best interest, we will work with you to facilitate as smooth a transfer as possible.

With rising costs of insurance premiums, larger co-pays and higher deductibles, Ballad Health recognizes that many of our patients will not be able to fully satisfy their financial obligations at the time services are rendered.
