How to contact availity?

How to access and use Availity Authorizations & Referrals:

• Log in to Availity
• Select Patient Registration menu option, choose Authorizations & Referrals, then Authorizations *
• Select Payer BCBSTX, then choose your organization
• Select a Request Type and start request
• Review and submit your request

How to get availity access?

With Availity, you can:

• Check patient eligibility and benefits
• Submit or manage preauthorizations and referrals
• Review claim status and remittance documents
• Submit medical records
• Manage overpayments
• Sign up for electronic payments and remittance documents

How do I access the patient portal?

With a patient portal, you can:

• Make appointments (non-urgent)
• Request referrals
• Refill prescriptions
• Check benefits
• Update insurance or contact information
• Make payments to your provider's office
• Complete forms
• Ask questions through secure e-mail

Why is availity not working?

Observe the Boolean value in the WindowsIntegratedFallbackEnabled attribute. If TRUE, then FBA can be an expected behavior. In case the user agent string of the browser is not configured in AD FS, authentication will fall back on forms based authentication in such cases. First, identify the UserAgentString.
