Are your physicians on staff at Metro Atlanta hospitals?

Our physicians are on staff at most metro Atlanta hospitals so patients can choose and still be cared for by our practice. Please note certain procedures may only be done at a hospital equipped for that procedure. What if my doctor is not available for my appointment?

How long does it take to get a cardiac clearance?

Yes, most surgeons require a cardiac clearance within 30 days of the surgery date. You will be examined by the physician and some additional tests may be needed to assess your risk. When scheduling a cardiac clearance, please allow adequate time for any testing to be completed.

Can you reschedule an appointment if you have a referral?

Your appointment may be rescheduled if a referral is not available at the time of your appointment. Waiving co-payments, coinsurance, or deductibles is a violation of our contract with our insurance carriers. For that reason, co-payments and balances are due at the time of service.

Dr. Winston Gandy is a dedicated and focused cardiologist serving patients throughout Southeast Georgia with prompt, individualized and quality care. He is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, and has been in practice for more than 20+ years.

Ellipsis Group is a community-based research organization which conducts clinic trials. Research participants are given the opportunity to participate in new research treatments and medications. Clinic trials allows participants to play a more active role in their own health care, and help others by contributing to medical research.
