How long does it take to activate MyChart?

Office staff will issue an activation link that is emailed to you and you will have 24 hours to activate an account. Or you can request an instant activation and complete your signup while at your provider’s office.

How to sign up for MyChart?

Patients can sign up for MyChart via the following methods: Sign up Online: You can go to UVMHealth.org and enter an activation code, or go to UVMHealth.org/MyChartSignUp and verify your email and other personal information. You will then receive a verification email with an activation link.

What is proxy access?

A proxy is a person who has been granted access to another patient’s MyChart account. To request proxy access, you will need to submit a MyChart Proxy Access Request & Authorization Form to the patient’s provider office. Which proxy request form you need depends on the age of the patient.

How long does it take to receive a MyChart answer?

You will generally receive an answer within two business days. Please note that MyChart should not be used for urgent medical situations. Please contact your doctor’s office by phone if the situation requires immediate attention, or dial 911 if it is an emergency.

What is hospital bill?

HOSPITAL bills include facility use, supplies, lab and radiology services, surgical and medical procedures, and hospital stays. To view and pay your HOSPITALbill , visit: My Health portal (powered by Meditech). In November of 2021 new hospital bills can be paid in MyChart.
