The Customer Service and Permitting Unit is charged with the intake, processing and issuance of all permits for the unincorporated areas of Yavapai County. Permits for buildings, structures and grading are required in all of the unincorporated areas of Yavapai County.

The Public Works Department is responsible for reviewing, processing, and issuing Right of Way and Access Permits for all encroachments and work within right of ways and roadways maintained by Yavapai County. Permits related to excavation, utilities, driveways, landscaping, mailboxes, and other encroachments to name a few are what we permit.
