Southern Ohio Medical Center provides a price list containing our charges for room and board, emergency department, operating room, delivery, physical therapy and other procedures. The hospital’s charges are the same for all patients, but a patient’s responsibility may vary depending on payment plans negotiated with individual health insurers.

Visiting your family doctor's office is arguably safer than going to the grocery store. While at SOMC, every patient will be expected to practice diligent hand hygiene, wear a mask, and comply with physical distancing and infection control protocols. Any patients with COVID positive screens are managed by their family doctor virtually or redirected to COVID Care Clinics in Ottawa. Our doctors and administrative staff are also screened daily.
Please note that your family doctor may be calling you from a NO-CALLER ID or PRIVATE number. If you have privacy settings that block private numbers, your doctor may not be able to reach you – please check with your service provider.

Patient Portal is a secure, online health management tool that connects Osceola Medical Center and Scandia Clinic patients to portions of their electronic medical record, allowing you to view clinical information online. This information includes allergies, immunizations, past and upcoming appointments and certain test results from clinic visits.

In most cases, your records are updated immediately. However, in some situations a three business day turnaround is necessary. Please allow three business days after your visit for all the information to be uploaded. If you feel the information should be displaying, contact Medical Records at 715-294-5726.
