About Wise Regional Health System

Wise Health System is a not-for-profit organization. It first opened its doors as Decatur Community Hospital in 1974 to serve Wise County residents. The main hospital is located on the East Campus which was established in 2006 featuring 99 private patient rooms and an Emergency Department with 27-beds, state-designated Level IV Trauma Facility.

When the doctor sees your sweet dad and mom crying and ready to throw in the towel, he closes the door and asked if he could pray...and Y'ALL when I say PRAY, he PRAYED!!! I know we touched heaven!
