Our state-of-the-art equipment allows us to perform and analyze X-rays instantaneously in-house, eliminating the need to drive to imaging centers and wait for results. We offer a lab on the premises where we can perform venipuncture and stat lab procedures.
Yes, we strive to accommodate all patients that have an urgent or acute problem whether you are an established patient of IFM or not. We accept walk-ins at 8:00AM and 1:30PM on a first come first serve basis Monday – Thursday and 8:00AM on Friday. Please be aware that although we do everything we can to eliminate your wait time, this type of appointment can experience longer than normal wait times.
Yes, Dr. J. Seaborn Blair III is approved by the Federal Motor Carrier to perform DOT physicals. Please note that most insurance companies do not cover this type of physical exam and you will be responsible for payment at the time of services.
A wellness physical is typically covered at 100% by your insurance company and has specific guidelines set forth by your insurance company to be covered at this visit. Preventative care such as immunizations and annual screenings including required labs, will be discussed.
Yes, our office is contracted and staffed by Pathgroup that will complete outside lab orders from other providers. Your provider will receive the results from Pathgroup. Outside labs orders do not come back to Island Family medicine.
