How does MyChart work at Watson Clinic?

Activation .The MyChart program will be activated once you accept this Agreement and create an account. Once MyChart at Watson Clinic is activated you may then receive personal health information as released by your physician into your personal MyChart account.

What does MyChart do after activating Watson?

After you have activated a MyChart account, MyChart will allow you to send and receive important messages from Watson Clinic, including information from your physician and certain test results and other personal medical information within your account.

What is MyChart?

MyChart is designed as a secure Internet-based environment through which you may send and receive certain confidential medical information released at the discretion of your physician. Your information may include Sensitive Information.

What is sensitive information?

"You" or "your" means the patient whose record is accessible through Watson Clinic's electronic patient portal ("MyChart"). "We," "our" and "Watson Clinic" mean Watson Clinic LLP. "Sensitive Information" means information related to conditions such as HIV/AIDS; infectious disease; hospice care; sexually transmitted infection testing, screening, diagnosis and/or treatment; genetic testing and conditions; history of domestic violence, child abuse, and/or other abuse; substance/ alcohol use and treatment history; mental health condition and care; and other particularly confidential health information about you or your family.

When does MyChart expire?

9. Records of Minors. A parent's ability to access a minor child's medical information using MyChart will expire on the child's thirteenth birthday, or sooner if the minor child has the right to consent to his or her own medical treatment or is emancipated.

Is MyChart part of my medical record?

14. Incorporation of Messages. Messages you send via MyChart may be made part of your medical record, at the discretion of Watson Clinic.

Does Watson Clinic charge for MyChart?

10. Fees. Watson Clinic reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to charge a fee for the use of MyChart at Watson Clinic. If we decide to charge a fee in the future, you will be notified and given the opportunity to continue or discontinue using any feature associated with the fee.

How to sign up for MyChart at Watson Clinic?

You can sign up for MyChart at Watson Clinic LLP by clicking the Sign Up Now button located on the homepage. Enter your MyChart activation code along with some of your personal information to create your new MyChart account . If you do not have an activation code, click Sign Up Online button to create an account using your personal information.

How to allow access to MyChart?

To allow access to your account, invite a family member or caregiver by navigating to the Share My Record page located under the Health icon of your MyChart account or speak with your provider's office during an office visit.

How long does it take for MyChart to log you out?

To help protect the privacy and security of your information, MyChart will automatically log you out of your account if your keyboard remains idle for 15 minutes. It is strongly recommended that you log out of your MyChart account if you need to leave your computer for a short period of time. Return to Top.

No, MyChart offers direct access to your personal health record and communicating about another individual's information would be placed in your health record. This information would not appear in the correct health record and could potentially jeopardize medical care.
