Launched on January 1, 2018, WAGI is now the largest, most comprehensive private GI practice in Washington state. Our story includes a rich history of providing preeminent GI care for nearly five decades, combined with a vision of collaboration and innovation, in a new practice dedicated to extraordinary patient care now and into the future.
Today, WAGI is comprised of 17 locations, over 30 board-certified gastroenterologists and a highly skilled team of advanced practitioners, as well as an experienced clinical and administrative staff.
Washington Gastroenterology (WAGI) was formed with the merger of three western Washington-based gastroenterology (GI) practices: Digestive Health Specialists (based in the Tacoma/South Puget Sound region), along with Northwest Gastroenterology Associates and Overlake Internal Medicine Associates – Gastroenterology (both based in the Bellevue/Eastside area).
In 2015, with an eye on the future, these legacy groups began exploring how to best collaborate and combine our talents and resources to provide an enhanced patient experience. Within a short time, it became clear that only by taking a leap and merging our operations into a single, unified practice could our ambitious goals truly be realized.

The Patient Portal is an online service that provides patients secure access to their health information. Various features may be available on the portal at your practice's discretion, including the ability to send messages to your health care providers, schedule appointments, and pay bills online. top
If you’re having issues logging into your patient portal, please contact your medical provider’s office for support.
Click the Billing tab. Your recent charges will appear listed under Recent Charges Payable Online.
Click the Appointments tab. Your scheduled appointments will appear listed under Upcoming Appointments . top
Click the Sign Out link at the top right of the screen. Alternatively, if your keyboard remains idle for 10 minutes or more, you will receive a pop-up window asking if you are still actively using the portal. If you do not click the OK button, you will be signed out automatically. Any information you have typed and not saved or sent will be lost.
Any active patient over the age of 13 is eligible to register for and use the Patient Portal. If you are authorized, a family access account can be created that will allow you to access selected family members' health information. top
If you are an authorized caregiver that needs help accessing a family member’s account, you will need to contact that family member’s medical provider for support.
