How to get proxy access on MyChart?

Log into your MyChart and type in “request proxy access” in the search menu bar. Select “other account” to click the “request access” button. Select the appropriate proxy relationship and follow the instructions.

How long does it take to get results from MyChart?

How and when to view the results of a test. Most general test results are automatically released to your MyChart account the next day (within 24 hours). Other results are released either 4 or 14 business days after the result is finalized. Please be aware that you may see your results before your provider.

How to activate mychart?

How to get an estimate for UW Neighborhood Clinic?

At least seven days (preferred) before your service, call the Financial Access Clearance Team (FACT) at 206.598.4388 to get an estimate by email or mail. For UW Neighborhood Clinic estimates, please ask at the clinic’s front desk or call the appointment line at 206.520.5000.

What happens if the patient's balance is less than the original estimate?

If the actual patient balance is less than the original estimate, the patient or guarantor will receive a refund for any overage that was paid after the discount was applied . If the actual patient balance is more than the original estimate, the patient or guarantor will be billed for the difference.

UW Medicine does not participate in every plan that each insurance company offers. Your benefit plan may have specific networks for mental health, vision, or transplant services that do not include UW Medicine. In those cases, UW Medicine would be considered "out-of-network," and your care here would not be covered.
