What happened to the Central Vermont Medical Center patient portal?
Important message for patients of Central Vermont Medical Center, Porter Medical Center, and Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital. As of November 9, 2019, these hospitals' outpatient portals have been replaced by MyChart, a new and improved patient portal powered by Epic.
What is happening to my MyHealth patient portal?
As of November 9, 2019, you should stop using your existing MyHealth patient portal to access information from outpatient practices and clinics. You will still have access to your information in this portal after November 9, 2019, but no new outpatient information will be added.
Why is it important to access your medical records?
Accessing your personal medical records through a patient portal can help you be more actively involved in your own health care. Accessing your family members’ health information, with permission, can help you take care of them more easily.
What is the Hixny portal?
The Hixny patient portal and MyChart allow your doctor to view and share information like medication history and test results. Accurate, up-to-date information leads to fewer repeated tests, lowers risk of mistakes, easier second opinions and less chance of drug interactions.
