From a desktop computer, to request access to another account, log into MyChart and then select the “Request access to another account (proxy)” link under Quick Links located on the right side of the page. Follow the instructions.
How and when to view the results of a test. Most general test results are automatically released to your MyChart account the next day (within 24 hours). Other results are released either 4 or 14 business days after the result is finalized. Please be aware that you may see your results before your provider.
Ages 18 and older: Once a child turns 18, parents no longer have access to their health record in MyChart and have to be granted access by the adult child. To initiate the request for access, log in to MyChart and go to the “Request access to another account (proxy)” option under the QuickLinks menu.
A typical e-Visits can take 10-15 minutes to complete. You cannot save your progress and return later. To start an e-Visit, log in to your MyChart account and select e-Visits from the menu. You'll then be prompted to select a symptom from the list of choices.
Parents and legal guardians can use MyChart to manage their child’s (or children’s) medical care through proxy access, but there are some things to be aware of depending on the child’s age.
