According to UCMC policy, proxy access will change to a limited version on the child's 12th birthday and will end on the child's 18th birthday. For children birth to 12 Years of Age: Parents and legal guardians are provided with full access to their child's MyChart account.
You have 30 days to set up your account. The code will only work for 30 days, then for your security, your activation code will be invalid and no longer work. Adult to Adult MyChart access does need a signature from both the patient and proxy. You are not able to ask questions on MyChart about another person’s information. This is because that information would then be in your health record and not in the correct health record of the other person.
