What is Wake Radiology?

At Wake Radiology, each section has a dedicated team of four or more sub-specialty trained physicians versus just one. This enables us to deliver more accurate interpretations in a timely manner and offer a full range of leading-edge studies to detect, diagnose and stage disease. Our radiologists offer subspecialty imaging expertise in women’s and breast, pediatric, orthopedic and sports, neuroradiology, body and emergency imaging well as interventional radiology and vein care. Meet our radiologists Plus, we offer a full line of screening studies to referring physicians and their patients. These include conventional and new 3D mammography, bone density studies (DXA), abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) ultrasound screenings, CT coronary calcium scoring, colon cancer screenings and CT lung cancer screenings as well as 3D mammography and Amyvid PET studies that can help rule out Alzheimer’s disease.
