What are the symptoms of the flu in the hospital?

Additionally, patients and visitors entering the hospital will be screened for symptoms of the flu and COVID-19. These include: fever, cough, and shortness of breath. You will not be permitted to enter if you exhibit signs of an influenza-like illness.

Is smoking allowed in the University of Iowa?

For your health and the health of others, University of Iowa Health Care and the UI campus are 100 percent smoke-free and tobacco-free. Smoking cigarettes (tobacco or electronic), cigars, or pipes and using chewing or smokeless tobacco is not allowed within or on the grounds.

How long does it take to create a portal account for UHS?

If you plan to visit UHS in person, or if you recently visited: Follow instructions printed for you at check-out. Create your account within 30 days after receiving instructions.

How to get my MRN number?

Get your medical record number (MRN) and activation code by calling the Patient Portal Help Desk at 734-615-0872 (7:30 am - 4 pm). Then create your account at MyUofMHealth.org by clicking the blue "Sign Up Now" button.
