What is a patient portal in healthcare?

MyChart is a new patient portal that keeps all of your health information together in one place. Bill Pay and CareLink Re-Enrollment will continue to serve you. Bill Pay Online is for you to pay your statement for dates of service prior to July 11, 2020, if you have visits after July 11, 2020 please refer to MyChart. How far in advance can you cancel an appointment at the University of Texas?

Please cancel/reschedule an appointment you cannot make at least two hours in advance, so we can serve another student in your place and to avoid a $25 Missed Appointment/Late Cancellation Charge.

Does UHS use Zoom?

UHS uses Zoom with security features that are compliant with privacy requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). A nurse will contact you if preparations or lab tests are needed before your appointment – typically a text telling you to expect a call from an unknown number.

How long does it take to create a portal account for UHS?

If you plan to visit UHS in person, or if you recently visited: Follow instructions printed for you at check-out. Create your account within 30 days after receiving instructions.

How to get my MRN number?

Get your medical record number (MRN) and activation code by calling the Patient Portal Help Desk at 734-615-0872 (7:30 am - 4 pm). Then create your account at MyUofMHealth.org by clicking the blue "Sign Up Now" button.

What is the phone number for HUHS?

For Primary Care and Urgent Care, please call (617) 495-5711 for assistance and scheduling. Please do not walk into HUHS unless you have been instructed to do so. As always, if you are experiencing a medical emergency please continue to call 911 or go to your closest Emergency Department.

What is the phone number for Dillon Field House?

Sports Nutrition visits at Dillon Field House for varsity student athletes only. For Internal Medicine and Urgent Care please call (617) 495-5711 for assistance and scheduling. Most Specialty Services require a referral from your Primary Care Team before you can call to schedule.

Is HUHS a MIIS?

As of January 2018, HUHS will be participating in the Massachusetts Immunization Information System (MIIS). This state-regulated program provides for centralized record-keeping of all of your immunization records for you and your healthcare provider in a secure, safe, and confidential site.
