As part of our ongoing commitment to campus-wide health and safety, UCR has implemented an immunization plan. All students are required to complete their immunization dates and submit proof of their immunization records for the UC required vaccines in their patient portal.
Seasonal Influenza Vaccine (Flu Shot) The flu vaccine is required for all students living, learning, or working on campus beginning fall quarter 2020.
Students who have completed the questionnaire and are found to be at high risk for TB must provide proof of a negative TB test, completed within 12 months of entry to UCR.
You can contact your PCP by making an appointment with them at The SHS Health Center (when possible) or by sending them a secure message via the patient portal with your diagnosis and provider information. For a behavioral health referral, you must first consult with a CAPS case manager/brief counselor.
The UCR SHS Center is unable to coordinate referrals for students who have waived UC SHIP. Non-SHIP students should coordinate their care with their own private health insurance company to verify coverage and benefits.
