1. Introduction

These Therapia Terms of Service for Patients (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Therapia Health Management Inc.

2. Your Content and Therapist Content

When you sign up as a Patient to use our Offerings and when you use the Offerings as a Patient, you provide us with information that may include: your name, date of birth, email address, password, address, availability, appointments, special instructions, online payment information, ratings, data, text, and other content and materials (collectively, “Your Content”).

3. No Doctor-Patient Relationship

You understand that certain information that is provided to you through the Offerings in any way shape or form may be provided by service providers in the medical profession, which does not create a doctor-patient relationship or other medical-patient relationship (or other variations of this type of relationship) between you and Therapia.

4. No Medical or Health Advice

Any medical or health-related information you receive by using the Offerings is solely for informational, scheduling and payment purposes. If you submit a medical or health related question to Therapia, answers are (a) provided by independent third party Therapists, and (b) for informational purposes only.

5. Booking Services

You can use the Offerings to discover the availability of a Therapist and to book appointments for Therapist Services.

6. Payment

After the completion of the Therapist Services to you by a Therapist and regardless of whether or not you dispute the amount of the fees or the quality or nature of the Therapist Services provided, Therapia will bill you in the payment method you have previously provided to us.

7. Taxes

The determination of the amount of tax, if any, that will be charged to you is the sole responsibility of the Therapist and we will not be liable for any errors in the amount of tax charged to Patients. We will collect taxes, if any, as a payment collection agent from you and remit these funds to the Therapists.

TherapyPortal is your own, unique client portal that you can customize to suit the needs of your practice. Your custom client portal is included with your TherapyNotes subscription at no extra cost and facilitates a paperless intake process.

What happens when a client completes a request?

Whenever a client completes your request by signing a document, uploading a document, or submitting a form, you'll automatically receive a reminder on your To-Do list to Process portal document responses. Electronic signatures and completed documents will be attached to the original document that you sent to the client in their chart, helping to keep your records lean and organized.

What are the chief benefits of MHS GENESIS?

MHS GENESIS is the first Department of Defense-wide electronic health record to be used by all military treatment facilities. By the time that MHS GENESIS is fully implemented throughout all of the DoD, patients will be able to receive care from any military treatment facility knowing that their health records will follow them.

How is MHS GENESIS different from CAL MED's current electronic health record systems?

Like all Army military treatment facilities, CAL MED currently uses several electronic health record systems for inpatient records, outpatient records, emergency room records, and other areas of care. While care teams can view patients' records in the different systems, this requires extra time to navigate all of the records.

What will I notice about what's new with MHS GENESIS?

The primary difference that patients will notice is the Patient Portal. While receiving care at MTFs which use MHS GENESIS, patients will no longer use RelayHealth and Tricare Online except for limited functions, such as requesting new providers.

When will I be able to start using the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal?

While patients may be able to log on to the Patient Portal and explore it during the weeks leading up to the transition to MHS GENESIS, the Patient Portal will not be active until September 7, 2019.

When patients move, will their new military treatment facilities be using MHS GENESIS?

The Department of Defense has a multi-year plan for all military treatment facilities to transition to MHS GENESIS. CAL MED is in the second wave of military treatment facility to transition to MHS GENESIS.

The TOL Patient Portal (also referred to as "TRICARE Online" or "TOL") is the current secure patient portal that gives registered users access to online health care information and services at military hospitals and clinics.

MHS GENESIS Patient Portal

MHS GENESIS is the new secure patient portal for TRICARE. It will eventually deploy to all military medical and dental facilities worldwide and replace the TOL Patient Portal.
