Is a C section a vaginal delivery?

For women with certain health and delivery issues, a cesarean delivery, more commonly known as a C-section, is a safer alternative than vaginal delivery. A C-section is a procedure in which incisions are made to the mother’s abdomen and uterus to deliver a baby. Sylacauga OB/GYN can help mothers determine if this procedure is right for them and their baby.

How to activate a patient portal?

Take Charge of Your Healthcare! 1 To get started, you must have a personal activation code. Please contact our office for this code if you wish to activate your account. 2 Once you have your code, simply click on the patient portal link. Then, click on the link Activate Patient Portal Account. 3 You will be prompted with directions for completing information and navigating the site.

Can you FaceTime during an OB ultrasound?

At this time, we will allow FaceTime or similar video messaging during all OB ultrasounds. However, as always, we cannot allow any video or audio recording during any visit.
