MyChart Login. SwedishAmerican patients who have an active MyChart account will be automatically enrolled in paperless billing and will no longer receive bills in the U.S. mail.If you have already opted out of paperless billing, you will continue to receive paper statements.

These hospitalists are board-certified internal medicine physicians who work in partnership with your primary care provider. With a hospitalist in charge of your care, you enjoy the benefit of a physician whose practice is solely dedicated to hospitalized patients.

What is spiritual care?

Our chaplains are available 24 hours a day to assist patients and their families with emotional and spiritual support during times of distress, illness and grief. Whether you need someone to pray with, listen or help connect you to your own faith community, a pastoral care staff member or trained volunteer is available at any time. Just dial the operator, who will page the chaplain on call.

Emergency admission is available on a 24-hour basis through the Swedish Hospital 's Emergency Department. The inpatient psychiatric unit offers modern, attractive rooms with private baths. Patients have access to a large, comfortable day room, activity rooms and conference rooms. There are also private interview and examination rooms for physicians' use.#N#Swedish Hospital's psychiatric services are covered by most health plans. For more information related to insurance coverage, please check with your insurance carrier. The hospital accepts patient referrals from physicians, clinicians, employee assistance programs, health clinics, social service agencies, clergy, individuals and family members.#N#Project Impact, accessed through Swedish Hospital's Emergency Department, helps patients and their families determine their insurance coverage before admission. A service of Lutheran Social Services of Illinois and funded by the Office of Mental Health of the State of Illinois, Project Impact employs crisis workers who operate 24 hours a day to pre-screen emergency mental health patients.#N#Direct admission may be arranged through the psychiatrist of your choice.
