If you are experiencing illness, have symptoms, or a health concern, you will speak with a nurse who will evaluate your concern, give advice or schedule an appointment as needed. There are often same-day appointments available for those with acute care needs .
For routine or primary care appointments, scheduling an appointment is beneficial because you can plan around class or other activities. It may not be possible to address many different concerns adequately at one visit. You may need to schedule separate appointments for different needs.

Student Health Services is responsible for collecting and maintaining students’ immunization records. Required Immunizations. Tuberculosis: Tuberculosis (TB) screening is required for all students. If TB testing is needed it must be completed within 3 months of the first day of classes for the semester.

Once records are submitted and a student has received a secure message in the patient portal indicating a missing immunization, students can call the Immunization Office at 703-993-2135 to schedule an appointment for needed immunizations.
Minor Consent. A parent/legal representative signature is required for a minor (a student under age 18 at the time classes begin). A minor consent must be on file at Student Health Services to receive most health services. This minor consent is on the immunization record form.
