The STEINDLER STAT team consists of physicians and physician assistants.
Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm at our Iowa City location. No referral or appointment is necessary to be treated by an orthopedic provider who specializes in muscle, bone, and joint care.
Our Urgent Care Coordinators are standing by to help you Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm to answer your questions and help you pre-register!
Because the walk-in injury clinic at STEINDLER STAT offers services that match our full-time clinic, you have the opportunity to return to the same team of dedicated providers for follow-up care after your walk-in visit. Through Steindler and STEINDLER STAT we offer:
We are a one-stop-shop! The means our Steindler team can easily coordinate with all of the services offered at Steindler Orthopedic Clinic, including physical therapy, hand therapy, pain specialists, imaging (MRI and x-ray) and orthopedic surgery. It’s also possible to be seen by any of these services on the same day. This saves you time and gets you on the road to recovery after an acute injury as fast as possible.
At Steindler STAT we strive to be in-network with all major insurance carriers and Medicare programs. Specialty office insurance copays will apply, but you will not be charged any emergency room fees. We accept all major credit cards, checks, and cash.
We accept the same insurance plans for our urgent care services that Steindler Orthopedic Clinic normally accepts—this includes most commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicare Advantage plans. If you have a question about your insurance coverage, please contact us prior to visiting the office. Make sure you bring your current insurance card with you to your visit! Pre-payment of services will be required for patients without insurance or patients covered by insurance plans in which the office does not participate.
If chronic pain is interfering with your quality of life, contact our pain management doctors at the Steindler Orthopedic Clinic Pain Management Center by calling (319) 338-3606 to schedule an appointment.
The practice of pain management uses an array of treatment methods for chronic pain, because the pain experienced can vary from mild to excruciating, episodic to continuous, and be inconvenient to completely incapacitating.
Additionally, our Fluoroscopy Suite at Steindler Orthopedic Clinic provides our pain patients the ability to have certain procedures performed on-site, making the patient more relaxed and comfortable.
