UPMC Somerset offers patients over the age of 18 the opportunity to access health information online and on the go. To set up your Follow My Health patient portal, you must receive an invitation link.
At the hospital patient portal, you can access read-only medical information through our secure server. This includes educational materials, information on your current medications, allergies, immunizations, health issues, and lab test results. All information is pulled directly from your electronic health records.
To enroll in the patient portal, you must receive services at one of our locations. To create an account, you may self-enroll here. Alternatively, you may contact the location where you received care and tell them you would like to make an account. Registration requires an email and a valid ID.
To receive an invitation link for the hospital portal, please call 814-443-5899, Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. You may also call this number if you have an existing office account and want to set up a hospital account. To receive an invitation link for your physician practice portal, please contact your provider’s office.
The Heritage Café staff works in conjunction with the Somerset Hospital Auxiliary and volunteers to provide service to all patrons with proceeds returned to the hospital to benefit patient services. Café hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturdays; and 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sundays.

It offers a wide variety of entrée choices, as well as sides, salads, desserts and beverages. The Cafeteria is open Monday thru Friday; 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
This is a complimentary program offered 7 days a week to meet your nutrition needs and requests. Most of the items on the menu can be adapted to meet your special nutritional needs. You, your nurses or your visitors can order what you want to eat, when you want to eat it, anytime during the service hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The UPMC Somerset Chaplain does make rounds daily Monday through Friday. The Chapel is located near the South Center Avenue entrance and is open to the community for prayer and reflection. If you know someone in need of prayer, our chapel offers an anonymous prayer request box for your convenience.

Parking is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All parking at UPMC Somerset is free except for on-street parking, which is regulated by Somerset Borough.

All messages sent to your provider’s office are transferred via a secure server compliant with HIPAA standards.

Due to the sensitive nature of radiology and pathology test results, these are not available on the patient portal and must be obtained through the hospital’s Health Information Department.
