What is the sentinel health platform?

The Sentinel Health platform will be easy to navigate and search and will house virtual simulations from Sentinel U’s entire product portfolio (22 digital products and growing) as well as education content ranging from community health and electronic medical record simulations to infusion therapy.

What new kbport products are coming to sentinel health?

Two KbPort products will be added to the Sentinel Health platform; SimEMR®, a simulated electronic medical record solution that enables students to learn how to electronically chart in today’s hospitals, and VirtualMeds Manager™, a web-based platform that allows for the simulation of medication administration activities.

How do I make sure I am receiving patient portal emails?

To ensure that you are receiving Patient Portal emails please do the following: Add NextMD.com to your contact list, address list, safe list, or "Do Not Block" list. Account will be locked for 20 minutes after 4 failed login attempts. Please remember that password is case sensitive.

When will Sentinel Health be available?

We are happy to announce that development of Sentinel Health, the first one-stop portal customized for healthcare virtual simulation learning content, is underway and will be available in 2021.

What is FIT in Sentinel?

The first content outside of Sentinel U product portfolio to be added to the Sentinel Health platform will be the Fundamentals of Infusion Therapy (FIT) product, a comprehensive, virtual, and interactive training program based on the Infusion Nurses Society Standards of Practice. It is designed to form the educational foundation for all clinicians engaged in infusion therapy.

UPDATE COVID-19

We have seen improvement in patient volume through continuation of the telemedicine program and expansion of services. The reduction in restrictions and increased vaccination has also helped significantly to improve over all clinic performance. We're working diligently with our healthcare partners to continue and update their services.

When you register for your stay as a patient you will be invited to create a myHuntingtonHealth account. You will be asked to provide an email address and the answer to a security question. An email will be sent to the address you provided with a link inviting you to join myHuntingtonHealth.

Why do I need to register in person?

We are committed to ensuring your medical information is protected. We will only be registering in person to ensure that this commitment is upheld.

Is myHuntingtonHealth secure?

We take great care to ensure that your health information is private and secure. Access to health information is provided after your identity is verified at registration and can only be accessed by your email address or user name and the personalized password that you choose.

What is your privacy policy?

myHuntingtonHealth is fully compliant with state and federal laws pertaining to your privacy. Your account information will be treated with the same care and privacy given to your health records.

Is my entire health history included in myHuntingtonHealth?

No. Some of the more commonly requested results for services provided at Huntington Hospital are available through your myHuntingtonHealth account. The medical history presented on myHuntingtonHealth will only back as far as beginning March 1, 2014, the date of the initial launch.

What if I want to access my health information prior to March 1, 2014?

What information can I access on myHuntingtonHealth?

Some of the more commonly requested results and documents from your stay at Huntington Hospital are available to securely view, print, download or share with your provider. These include certain lab results, current medications, immunizations, allergies, discharge instructions, and educational material.
