Sakakawea Medical Center ancillary services will be closed for outpatient appointments on Friday, December 24, and Friday, December 31. SMC Urgent Care will be closed on Saturday, December 25, and Saturday, January 1.

Our patient portals offer you convenient, personalized, and secure online access to part of your health records from participating Munson Healthcare hospitals, clinics, and doctor’s offices: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The occupational therapist at Sakakawea Medical Center often works closely with physical therapy, speech therapy, nursing, social workers and the community.

The Nursing Care Coordinator assists to cultivate a partnership among patients, family members/caregiver (s), health care professionals, clinics and hospitals, specialists, pharmacists, mental health professionals and community services.
Acute Care patients receives active, but short-term treatment for a severe injury or episode of illness, an urgent medical condition, or during recovery from surgery.
Sakakawea Medical Center Swing Bed is a certified program of extended care services for persons not able to care for themselves, but who no longer need acute hospital care. Since our Swing Bed unit provides extended care, you will find these services quite different from those offered in the acute care hospital setting.
At the hospital patient portal, you can access read-only medical information through our secure server. This includes educational materials, information on your current medications, allergies, immunizations, health issues, and lab test results. All information is pulled directly from your electronic health records.
