Opened in 1984, our Lee’s Summit Office is the home office of the practice. In 2006 we moved to the current location at NW Blue Parkway and Colbern Rd.

We offer same day appointments, often with the provider of your choice, and walk-in urgent care hours during the busy winter season to accommodate busy and working parents. Lee’s Summit Physicians Group Pediatrics Section offers Personalized, Preventive, and Primary Care for infants, children and adolescents. Internal Medicine doctors specialize in adolescent and adult medicine.

What time does Pediatrics open?

Founded in 1980, Preferred Pediatrics is a patient-centered group of pediatricians who are devoted to providing high-quality care for children from birth to age 21. We treat acutely ill patients in a timely manner and provide ongoing therapy for patients with long-term problems.

Pediatrics

Pediatricians are specialists in the care of infants, children, and adolescents. We currently accept new patients under the age of 18. Our training consists of three years of residency, limited to pediatrics, after completion of medical school.

Internal Medicine

Internal Medicine doctors specialize in adolescent and adult medicine. Most would consider us primary care physicians that are specifically trained in taking care of adult routine care problems in addition to more complex medical issues and coordinating specialists as the need arises. Our practice will see individuals age 14 and older.
