Is Practice Fusion a certified EHR?

Practice Fusion allows you as a Practice Fusion provider to enable your patients and/or their patient-authorized representatives to access their health records via Patient Fusion. Once obtaining such access, patients and/or their patient-authorized representatives can view, download and transmit the medical data you have shared with them.

What is a message in a patient portal?

Messages provides a secure method to communicate with your patients if they are actively enrolled in a patient portal account . Patients also have the option to include a document attachment and/or hyperlink. (See Graphic 8)

What are vital signs?

Vital Signs entered in a flowsheet on a signed encounter can be seen in the patient portal. Vitals typically include height, weight, blood pressure, heart rate. There are many options available to choose from. (See Graphic 12)

Past Visits display previous appointments. Patients and/or authorized patient representatives will also see a record of any upcoming appointments in the Appointments section. (See Graphic 9)

Activity Feed displays any activities taken. You can see the username that performed activities like viewed, logged in, and generated a Patient Summary. (See Graphic 1)

How are care plans shared?

Care Plans are shared exactly as entered in the form of free-text in the PHR. Simply record your care plans and instructions, and that text will automatically be available to patients after your note has been signed. (See Graphic 3)

Can you see structured data in Practice Fusion?

Patients and/or their patient-authorized representatives will be able to see structured data shared from the Practice Fusion EHR in their Patient Fusion account if they are enrolled in Patient Fusion. Structured data from the medical records include lab results, diagnoses, medications, immunizations, allergies, and certain fields of a chart note will be included.

Can lab results be shared?

Labs & Imaging results can be shared as individual components or full test results. Shared lab results will only show if they are in final status, even if you have already shared them. Results from connected labs as well as manually entered will display in the PHR. Certain format of labs (namely PDF results) will not appear in full. (See Graphic 6)
