MyChart is a free online patient portal that UW Medicine offers patients. With MyChart, you can easily access your medical records, appointment scheduling, billing and payment information, prescription refills and more — all in one secure location.

Can I add a record of my COVID-19 vaccine to MyChart if I received it outside the UW Medicine system?

Yes. You may do this by sending a photo of your vaccine card to your provider through MyChart or by bringing your vaccine card to your next appointment with a UW Medicine provider. If you received your vaccination through UW Medicine, there is no need to do anything as a record of your vaccination will be added automatically to our system.

How to request access to another account on MyChart?

From a desktop computer, to request access to another account, log into MyChart and then select the “Request access to another account (proxy)” link under Quick Links located on the right side of the page. Follow the instructions.

Does UW Health pay for e-visit?

Typically, the fee will be charged to your credit card the night following your completed e-Visit. If your e-Visit is canceled, you will not be charged. Most insurance companies do not cover the cost of an e-Visit. For this reason, UW Health does not file an e-Visit insurance claim on your behalf.

Can a parent use MyChart?

Parents and legal guardians can use MyChart to manage their child’s (or children’s) medical care through proxy access, but there are some things to be aware of depending on the child’s age.
