Can you schedule an appointment online for Penobscot?

We’re excited to begin the rollout of our online self-scheduling tool. Our online scheduler will allow patients to sign up for appointments. Patients can now start scheduling appointments for COVID-19 Vaccines and visits to Penobscot Pediatrics (our flagship pediatrics practice at 6 Telcom Drive, Bangor) and Brewer Medical Center. The Patient Portal is not intended to help diagnose a medical condition, provide any sort of treatment advice, or emergency help. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, you should be seen by the Emergency Department or you should call 911.

When will Princeton Community Hospital open EHR?

Beginning July 1, 2019, both Princeton Community Hospital and Mercer Medical Group Affiliate patients may access their medical record through the Patient Portal thanks to EXPANSE, our new electronic health record (EHR) designed to create a more seamless, efficient, and unified experience for the patient.

What is proxy access?

A proxy access is granted for three patient types: 1). Parents or legal guardians of minors up to the age of 12. 2). Parents or legal guardians for patients with mental or physical impairments. 3). Adult to adult patients.

The Patient Portal will be available 24/7 after the patient has registered to use the site. Patients may view their own records, and they may also view the medical records of a family member if the family member has given them permission to do so. This is called “Proxy Rights.”
