As a reminder of what the CDC and Baptist Hospital have published, we encourage all of our patients and associates to do the following: 1 Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. 2 If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. 3 Avoid close contact with people who are sick. 4 Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. 5 Cover your cough or sneeze into your elbow, or into a tissue and throw it in the trash. 6 Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
